Norman H. Andersson, CEO
Mr. Norman H. Andersson is the CEO of Veteran Engineering and Technology, LLC. Andersson has had an extensive career in the US Army and US Army Reserve, as well as the defense contracting community where he gained experience with both large and small companies.
Andersson graduated from the US Military Academy in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and later received his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, and a Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University. He is also a graduate of the US Army War College.
During his military career he had successful command and staff assignments in the Federal Republic of Germany, Fort Belvoir, Fort Bragg, Fort Douglas, West Point, Peterson Air Force Base, and Fort Carson. As an Army Reserve Soldier, he was the Deputy Commanding General for Division West (First Army), a tenant unit at Fort Carson responsible for the mobilization and deployment of all National Guard and Army Reserve units west of the Mississippi.
During his civilian career he studied advanced armored fighting vehicles and developed directed energy weapons with General Dynamics, studied computer network defense with TRW, expanded the business base for TKC Technology Solutions, and has started several small businesses to capitalize on new technologies.
He was President of the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, and President of the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Association of the United States Army. He is active in six local and national not-for-profit organizations.
Craig S. Newmaker, President
Mr. Newmaker holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, graduating in 1989 with academic distinction. Mr. Newmaker served on active duty in the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments with the Army Signal Corps. After separating from the Army, Mr. Newmaker worked as a software technical lead and manager for CTA Incorporated, Client/Server Division of Titan Corporation, and Booz-Allen & Hamilton working in the defense, e-commerce, and telecommunications domains.
With decades of experience in software development, to include all phases of the software lifecycle, Mr. Newmaker has expertise in the following languages and development environments: C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, Ada, Oracle, FORTRAN, COBOL, Pascal, AWK, UNIX shells, and LISP.
