Built by veterans.
Trusted by federal agencies for over 20 years.
Veteran Engineering and Technology, LLC (VET) · Colorado Springs, CO · Est. 2003 · SBA Certified SDVOSB
Not the largest. The most trusted. VET exists to do one thing exceptionally well: deliver federal IT solutions on time, within budget, and with the discipline that military service demands.
Cleared, experienced professionals matched precisely to program requirements. We staff from a deep network of veterans and technical experts who understand the mission — not just the technology.
Domain expertise across DoD, VA, NASA, and federal civilian agencies built over two decades of real program delivery. We bring proven approaches, not theoretical frameworks.
Six active contract vehicles. Task order ready. ISO 9001:2015 processes that mobilize quickly. When an agency has a requirement, VET has a path to delivery — without delays or workarounds.
20 years of quiet, consistent delivery
Veteran Engineering and Technology was founded in 2003 by Craig S. Newmaker — a West Point graduate, Army Signal Corps veteran, and software engineer who understood that federal agencies deserved IT partners who approached every program with the same discipline, accountability, and commitment to excellence that military service demands.
Headquartered in Colorado Springs — home to Fort Carson, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, and the United States Air Force Academy — VET has spent two decades building a reputation for doing exactly what we say we will do. We do not chase headlines. We deliver results.
VET is privately held and has operated debt-free since our founding in 2003. In a federal contracting market where many firms carry acquisition debt or outside investor obligations, our financial independence means one thing for our clients: we are here for the long term, with no investor pressure, no acquisition risk, and no divided loyalties.
When you award a multi-year task order to VET, the company you sign with on day one is the company delivering on year five. Our people know your programs. Our processes are documented and certified. Our financial stability is verifiable. That is not a marketing claim — it is the record of 20 years in business.
